Your enquiries

The form collects your name, email address, topic, language and message. Your company name is optional. Required fields allow us to handle your enquiry and reply; the form cannot be submitted without them. Please do not include passwords or sensitive information in your message.

This information passes through our Cloudflare hosting and is sent to [email protected] using Microsoft 365. A copy is kept in that mailbox’s sent items. Team members handling your enquiry may access it to respond and follow up.

We use this information to answer your questions and, at your request, prepare a potential engagement. Where the GDPR applies, this processing relies on steps taken at your request before a contract or our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. Submitting the form does not subscribe you to a mailing list.

Hosting and spam protection

Cloudflare hosts and delivers this website, secures connections and processes requests. These operations involve technical data including the IP address, requested URL, request time and information sent by the browser. Their purpose is to deliver the website, diagnose incidents and prevent abuse, based on our legitimate interest in maintaining its availability and security.

Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise loads on the contact page to distinguish human enquiries from automated submissions. Google processes technical information about the browser, device and interactions and may use a security cookie, including _GRECAPTCHA. Our server checks the result before sending the message. Google acts as a processor for this service’s customer data.

Spam protection operates independently of your Analytics cookie choice. You can email us directly if you prefer not to use the reCAPTCHA form.

Analytics and your choices

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand page views and website interactions. Advanced Consent Mode sends limited measurements to Google without Analytics cookies before you choose and after you decline. These transmissions may include the page viewed, time, browser type and referral information. This does not mean that no data is collected.

If you accept, Google Analytics may also use cookies to recognise your browser and measure visits in more detail. Consent is the basis for this use of cookies. Google signals and advertising personalisation are disabled in our integration. Our website code does not explicitly send names, email addresses or form messages to Analytics.

Use “Cookies and analytics” in the footer to change your choice. Withdrawal removes Analytics cookies accessible to the website and returns Analytics storage to the denied state; measurements without these cookies continue. This choice does not control Cloudflare Web Analytics or security services.

Cloudflare Web Analytics, when enabled for the public domain, uses a script to measure page views and performance. According to Cloudflare, it uses neither cookies nor local storage for analytics and does not track people across websites. It is separate from hosting traffic statistics. Contact us with requests concerning these measurements.

Appointments, videos and external links

The booking page loads CalendarHero. Displaying it connects to that provider; making a booking sends the contact details and information you enter to arrange the meeting. This service operates independently of Analytics preferences.

Demonstration videos hosted on this website are served by our hosting provider. Links to YouTube, Spiceworks and other websites take you to services with their own privacy practices.

Retention and browser storage

Contact correspondence is retained while we handle your enquiry and follow up on the resulting relationship. Further retention depends on obligations applying to contractual or accounting records and the need to establish or defend legal claims. You can ask us about the criteria and retention periods applying to your records.

The studiobods_language cookie remembers your language preference for one year. Your Analytics choice is stored in browser local storage for 180 days. Our integration configures _ga and _ga_* Analytics cookies for 180 days without automatically renewing their lifetime on every visit. You can also remove these items through your browser settings.

These browser storage periods are not the providers’ server retention periods. Measurement data, technical logs and security data follow service settings and operational needs. Contact us for details or to request deletion of your data.

Recipients and international processing

In addition to STUDIO BODs team members handling your enquiry, technical providers process information for their respective functions: Cloudflare for hosting and analytics, Microsoft for email, Google for reCAPTCHA and Analytics, and CalendarHero for appointments.

Our operations in Canada and France and our use of international providers may involve processing outside your country, including in Canada and the United States. Locations and safeguards depend on the service and applicable agreements. You may request details about recipients and transfer safeguards applying to your data.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law and its conditions, you may request access, correction or deletion of your data, restriction of processing, object to certain uses and request data portability. You can withdraw consent without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal. A proportionate identity check may be needed to handle your request.

Send your request to [email protected]. You may also complain to the relevant data protection authority, including the CNIL in France or the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
